We partner with organizations like libraries and schools to provide sustainable solutions for their books and media. Each year, our process keeps millions of books in circulation while recycling items no longer suitable for reuse.

While we currently do not purchase books from the general public, you can donate your books at one of our many locations.

If you're looking to sell your books, we recommend visiting our friends at The Tattered Cover Bookstore. They offer buy-back services at most of their locations.

Roughly 30% of our material is no longer suitable for recirculation and is recycled through one of our many recycling partners. Over 95% of the books we receive are diverted from landfills. The item that most often contaminates our recycling is spiral bound books.
